Usui Reiki Symbols 

enhance the flow of life energy when used during a reiki session. These symbols can also open doors to a higher levels of awareness, spirituality, and manifestation.

Reiki symbols can only be activated when passed from master to student during an attunement (in a reiki workshops). There are 4 Usui reiki symbols:

• • The Power Symbol: works on the actual physical & etheric body (in the aura)

  • The Emotional Symbol: works on the emotional body in the aura

  • The Long Distance Symbol: used in distant healing & works on the mental body in the aura

  • The Master Symbol: used in passing attunements & works on the rest of the aura layers (the spiritual plane)

Karuna Ki Reiki Symbols

Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translanted to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action."

The general response of students is that Karuna Reiki is stronger or have higher frequencies than Usui Reiki. The energy has a more definite feeling to it. It works on the emotional and spiritual levels and also can help one become more grounded

The first symbol prepares the client for deep issues and also useful with past life issues. It helps release karma and deeply seated issues on the cellular level. The second symbol can be used to breakup the negative patterns we unconsciously use to insulate ourselves from the truth, thus shattering delusion and denial. It works on the shadow self. The third symbol fills the person with love and restores balance. The fourth symbol completes the session by bringing the client back into the body and grounding. The fifths symbols is for peace of mind, rid of insomnia, releases fear & panic and increases clairvoyance. The sixth increases awarness of dimensional levels of self. The seventh is very powerful in manifestation. The eighth hightens awarness to reality. In addition to another 4 symbols for the master level.

Karmic Reiki Symbols

There are 2 symbols for general karma.

In addition to 3 sister symbols which works on specific Karmic issues: the 1st vaporizes any karmic blockage; the 2nd will cleanse any shadow left and the 3rd will connect you to your higher self.

Non Traditional Reiki Symbols
