The ability to attune to the Reiki* frequency is passed from Master to student during an attunement process which opens the Crown, Heart, and Palm Chakras.

An attunement is best given in person as part of a Reiki class. This is how reiki was taught by the founder, Mikao Usui and also by his students in Japan.
